The King Street team is excited to welcome Dr Simon Drury as of August 2025. 

Dr Simon grew up in South East Queensland and attended The Southport School (TSS) on the Gold Coast. His passion for medicine was sparked during his time in the Australian Army Reserves, where he enlisted as an Officer Cadet and gained early first aid experience with the Medical Corps as a Combat Medic.

He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in China and later completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Western Australia. Dr Drury has lived and studied internationally and has worked in hospitals across Perth and Melbourne, gaining broad clinical experience.

His professional interests lie in Emergency Medicine, where he values fast-paced, high-impact patient care. Outside of work, Dr Drury enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and has a strong personal interest in film, television, and history.
